Two wineries and traditional local cuisine restaurant

This tour starts with the visits of two wineries around the vineyards of Utiel-Requena area, located at one hour from Valencia. In each winery, you will discover the history of the estate and the wine-making process before enjoy some delicious wine tasting. Both visits will be in English.

 

After visiting the wineries, let’s go to the historic center of Requena to have a lunch at El Yantar – Mesón La Villa. The restaurant is a reference in this area for its traditional cuisine with modern touches.

 

In the restaurant, enjoy a special menu to discover the local gastronomy of La Mancha-Valencia (water, wine and coffee are included). Click here to see the menu.

Meeting place

The tour starts and ends at the car park in front of the Empalme metro station in Valencia. This meeting point is very easy to reach by public transport and avoids the city traffic.
In order to access Empalme by Metro / Tram:

 

 

  • Metro line 1 direction Seminari-CEU or Bétera (both options are valid), get off at Empalme
  • Metro line 2 direction Paterna or Llíria (both options are valid), get off at Empalme
  • Tram line 4 direction V.A. Estellés o Mas del Rosari (both options are valid), get off at Empalme
